Kinky Boots Hiking Trip

This weekend, Sunday, May 7th at 10:00 am, we will be hiking in the Dick and Nancy Eales Moosic Mountain Nature Preserve. Below are directions and a picture of the park entrance ( which can be easily missed on the winding mountain road).  Hope to walk with you. Wesley

Info about Dick and Nancy Eales Moosic Mountain Nature Preserve

Slated as a business park, the Nature Conservancy purchased this windswept mountain land in 2001. Controlled burns maintain the unique mountain barren environment of stunted pines and oaks and ground clinging blueberry, rhodora, and huckleberry. Our two-mile hike this weekend will wind its way through the rocky scrubbage, passing along the rock formation known as the “Stonehenge.”
