Milford, Pa., / June 15 — Derek Roberts, producer of this Summer’s newest and most unique gay event, FLOAT 2007, announced on Monday that tickets are now on sale. FLOAT will be held on Saturday, August 4th, 2007 in beautiful Milford, Pennsylvania. Milford is 75 miles northwest of Manhattan and is easily reached by both bus and train, from Philadelphia it is a quick 2 hour trip north.

The day starts with guests launching canoes on the pristine Delaware River for a 12 mile trip through the 77,000 acre Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area with the areas’ oldest and best river livery, Kittatinny Canoes. Guests are free to stop anywhere along the river for lunch, sunning, swimming and some exploring of the beautiful forests and open meadows. The canoe trip will take 4-6 hours depending on stop time, amount of paddling and river flow.

After landing in Dingmans Ferry, Pa, guests will be bussed back to the canoe base and their vehicles. Those staying in area hotels will return there to get cleaned up. Those not staying in the area are invited to use the base’s clean shower and changing facilities. Once refreshed, guests will be directed to Mt. Haven (www.MtHavenResort.com) for the FLOAT after party. Beginning at 6:00 p.m. the after party offers: a delicious BBQ buffet, 4 hours of open bar, and 2 NYC DJs with DJ Blaster opening and DJ / Remixer Sin Morera (www.SinMorera.com) closing. The after party takes place under the impressive and private 200’ x 50’ open air Pavilion at Mt. Haven. After 10:00 p.m. the open bar ends and a moderately priced cash bar begins.

Ticket pricing is only $135 for a multipass, $65 after party only and just $10 after 10 p.m. The dance party will continue until early morning. Mt. Haven is offering discount accommodation rates so FLOAT guests can stay just steps from the after party. Mt. Haven guests will also have their own transportation to and from the canoe base. FLOAT is sure to be a full day of fun and adventure. For complete event information and tickets please visit: www.MilfordFloat.com.
